The story Behind Ria Thai Yoga Massage

About

Hi, I’m Raheela Nisar of Ria Thai Yoga Massage which I formed in October 2021 after successfully completing my Thai Yoga Massage diploma from Shiatsu and Thai Massage Training Scotland in Glasgow. After working from home as a Thai yoga massage practitioner for a year, I decided to build my own massage studio on the back of my house and have my own tranquil space which clients can enjoy whilst having their treatments.

I began my Thai yoga massage journey as a result of researching holistic treatments for my own menopause symptoms and unlocked a door into the most spiritual, healing and mind/body nourishing treatment I had ever experienced and have never looked back! After feeling a benefit, from this form of massage for my own menopause symptoms, I became a student of this ancient art which leads you to a journey of self-discovery, learning how to restore your own mind and body equilibrium so you can share this energy with others promoting well-being!

RIA THAI YOGA Massage

Mission

I’m an avid practising yogi for 20 years now, it’s a daily self-help treatment for me and has helped through various stages of my life. The elements of yoga that are incorporated in Thai yoga massage made sense to me immediately, the breathing and yoga stretches achieved throughout the massage make me feel truly at one with my clients which translates into the transfer of energy shared helping my clients feel well!

You don’t have to be super flexible or fully fit for this type of massage, aches, pains, lack of mobility, stiffness in joints, muscles and above all mental tension are all reasons to try this all-encompassing practise or even if you’re perfectly fit enjoy the mobilising, pressing and stretching techniques to bring balance to your mind and body. Even if you have pre-existing medical conditions the massage can be adapted to suit your needs and help provide relief for your symptoms.
